Having a unique selling point sets you apart from competitors and helps you focus on your ideal customers. You can’t please everyone, and nor should you. You need to focus on delighting your target customers.
Customers have an abundance of options these days. If you don’t tell them why you can meet their needs better than others, you may lose those potential customers. Make your unique selling proposition really obvious, simple and memorable. Make it as easy as possible for customers to see what you can do, that others cannot.
When it comes to creating your unique selling points (USP), make a list of all the things your competitors offer. Then, make a list of what you offer and focus on how you do things better than those competitors. Are your prices lower? Is your product quality better? Do you have extended trading hours? Do you offer free delivery?
Most importantly, you need to tell everyone about it. Effectively communicating your USP is not always easy, although we can help you. Don’t go through the hard work of defining your unique selling points, without communicating it widely and effectively.
