GET CREATIVE WITH THESE MARKETING IDEAS.

creative-ways-to-market-your-small-businessSometimes we hit a wall and simply cannot think of any creative ways to market our business. Here are some simple, yet creative marketing ideas.

  1. Join in on weekly hashtag themes – if you can find a relevant way to become part of a weekly or well-known hashtag, then go for it. Don’t do it out of desperation though.
  2. Using Facebook’s ‘Pages to Watch’ feature, you can quietly follow competitor pages and see what they’re doing that works well. It might give you some inspiration.
  3. Unlikely sponsorships can bring you lots of new customers. You could get a friend or neighbour to agree to promote your business, by displaying your business cards or flyers. You may even be able to run a short video or advert on a TV in a medical centre or restaurant.
  4. Photo contests are easy to run & fun to be involved in – everyone wants to be a star. You can even use a contest to gather customer data.
  5. Get a guest speaker at your next event, or a guest trainer at your gym. Anyone that can bring a new experience for your customers will be well received.
  6. Conduct a short customer survey and find out what more you can do to keep customers happy.
  7. Send your customers a Happy Birthday message or email – you could even include a special birthday offer. This will surprise and delight them.
  8. Add some personality to your business. Use quirky images, show who your staff are and post some behind the scenes photos to social media.
  9. Thank your large clients for their business with a small gift – it could be a promotional mug or mousepad with your business details on it. This will help you stay in their top of their minds.
  10. Most importantly, stay consistent in your message to your customers. This will build trust and loyalty in your business.
